Communication is an important skill in NVUSD and Harvest Middle School. In math today, students were communicating by collaborating with their small group, showing their work on the board, sharing out their reasoning and asking deeper level questions. Mrs. Smith's class shows in this picture how students are presenting at the board and asking questions that check for understanding.
